Discovery Time

Discovery Time (Ages 5–6)

Discovery Time is a hands-on, engaging class for 5–6 year olds who already have a foundational understanding of the days of the week, months, and basic math skills. Lessons are thoughtfully adjusted to meet children where they are and gently challenge them to grow.

In this class, children will:

• Strengthen math skills including counting, number sense, and simple addition and subtraction through interactive games and activities

• Build on calendar knowledge with deeper discussions, sequencing, and routines

• Develop fine motor skills through guided cutting, crafts, and hands-on projects

• Participate in theme-based activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork

• Practice social and emotional skills such as listening, sharing ideas, and working cooperatively
