High School Biology: 24-Week Course

This 24-week introductory biology course is designed for students ages 13–18 and is ideal for high school students. No previous biology experience is required.

Students will explore the characteristics of life, cells, genetics, DNA, evolution, classification, ecology, microorganisms, plants, and human body systems. Lessons will include hands-on activities such as laboratory investigations, experiments, biological models, specimen observations, and dissections.

Throughout the course, students will practice collecting and analyzing data, creating graphs, using microscopes, labeling biological structures, and explaining how structure relates to function.

Classes will meet on Thursdays for 24 weeks. Space is limited, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
